The other day I took the girls outside to enjoy what will probably be one of our last nice fall days. It was 22 degrees Celsius (that’s 72 degrees Fahrenheit). I could not let the day go by without spending some time outside. Now that winter is near I need to take advantage of what nice days we have left, it snowed the day after I took these pictures, then it was really nice out all weekend again. Prairie weather.   

We do not spend nearly enough time out side these days. If it’s nice out we either have appointments and spend time shuffling from one building to the next or we’re at home and the girls are on opposite nap schedules and I constantly have one sleeping baby and one awake baby all day long (those are fun). I really need to make a bigger effort to get more fresh are into these little ones while the weather is nice, can’t spend quality time outdoors with two infants when it’s cold outside.  I miss the outdoors , I used to spend a lot of time outside every day taking care of all of the creatures. Now that Sky does most of those jobs I find myself inside more than I would like.

Taking pictures in the grass was good fun. I hadn’t thought of it but the girls had never felt grass before, let alone dry grass. It was a totally new texture for them too bad I couldn’t have gotten that initial reaction on camera it was priceless “what the heck it this stuff”. Once safety was established they both thought it would be a good idea to taste it. Everything into the mouth. Happiness lasted only so long then I had to fight the sand man to get the rest of my pictures, lots of distraction and funny faces. Its a good thing we live on an acreage or else someone in the city park may have had me committed. LOL.
