Bubble Bath Fun

Published by Korrina at 9:28 am under Adventures, Daily

Who can resist two cute little girls in the tub?

The girls are both finally both stable enough that I can put them both in the tub rings so they can safely have baths together. Lena bears the brunt of Kassie’s incessant splashing but I think she likes it; she’s starting to get her back a little.  They are growing up too fast.

    Korrina,
Medek can be done at any age the sooner the better. We originally started Medek with elizabeth when she was just over a year and continued for one year until the PT (Ramon’s colleague) moved away. Elizabeth made great gains then with getting up to stand and taking steps with support. We met Ramon in TO and heard he was coming to Montreal to work so we booked. It is not cheap to see him he is $170 hr and it is not covered as he does not have a Canadian liscence. His colleague works in TO (Blue Balloon) is around $120 hr and we were reinbursed through private ins. for half the cost. Families do come from all over to do a block with both him or Simona. Look on our blog for the CME link and the Teya video to learn more, check his website to see if there is anyone in your area. A lot of therapists are trained in Medek just Ramon and Simona only do Medek alone. Medek is not for every child and some kids are very upset during it but Elizabeth likes it, if she cried during I would not do it but she craves the movement and challenges.
Your girls are getting older and cuter. It is so nice to see them in the bath together. It is those little things that we never take advantage of, we cherish them and it keeps us going.
Any other question please feel free to ask. Hey when are you going to add Elizabeth on the girls friends list?

In all cases, use baby shampoo. Getting regular shampoo in your eyes stings and makes the fun a little uncomfortable.

Cute baby.Make bubble farts! When you get a cup and make the hole part facing directly at the water then bring the cup to the floor of the bath (with the hole part of the cup still facing down) then tilt the cup upwards so the cup is no longer straight and there will be heaps of bubbles running to the surface and it makes a fart noise! Sorry if I didn’t explain that well.

I don’t know if you are looking to replace the relaxation or to replace the feeling of soaking in the water. but if it helps any you should try having a spa day. soak your feet in one of those massaging foot soakers, paint your toe nails and your finger nails. this makes me feel good as its pampering and relaxing.

K so I got my toys and everything, but I can’t decide what I want them to do when I get in there. I’ve exhausted the swimming in the freezing artic storyline and I need another one to entertain me or at least something different to do while taking a bath? Can you think of any?
