Bad Blogger!
I am a bad bad blogger. I am also a bad web designer and a bad house cleaner etc. It feels like I have accomplished almost nothing in almost a week.
Wayne was off work all of last week, he spent nearly all of his time off trying to remodel our entrance way. The project that should have taken about 5 days is still not done. When you remodel a 1916 character home you have to be prepared for some problems, this project was full of them.
On Friday night after a very hot day, (actually about 3:30am Saturday) we were hit with a huge storm. There is no official sighting but we are sure that we had a small twister. Wind was slamming bedroom doors from all directions, items are scattered all around our house inside and out. The damage on the property is all over not just in one direction, so we, as well as our neighbors are sure we had a small twister along with the golf ball sized hail. 
So on Saturday after spending the better part of the early morning hours in the basement and inspecting our yard we all went to bed and stayed there for awhile. Needless to say most everyone else got to stay in bed much later than I, babies just don’t understand the concept of sleeping in. So while everyone else got their beauty sleep I trucked off to the neighbor’s place that had power (ours was out for 11 hours) to wash baby bottles. Much of Saturday was spent cleaning up the mess. Trees needed to be cleaned up, glass swept up and damage inspected. After that and the fact that the door we bought didn’t fit the porch construction was put on hold until next week when Wayne is off again. We also decided that finishing it at a slower pace wasn’t a bad idea, so that he could actually relax for part of his vacation.
Now that the girls are getting bigger and therefore busier I find I have much less time to accomplish the things that need to be done let alone have time for myself. We need a routine, trouble is summer holidays have always been notorious routine breakers in our house. Yikes. I guess in the name of sanity I will just have to make one and stick to it.

Actually, we heard about possible funnel clouds near you on the Weather Network. We escaped the hail but Martinsville and that area got it too.
And you are not a bad anything. You are the mom of babies. That trumps all the other stuff and always will.
That pic of Lena and you in the pool is priceless. She’s all pimped out in cool shades but still not too sure about the water. LOL.
I know there was a torndo warning that night but we haven’t heard of any official sightings. Now on Monday there was a tornado warning in the afternoon and there were a few funnel clouds spotted in the Delise area. I’m not liking this weather at all.
You are by far not a bad blogger nor a bad web page designer. I think perhaps the twister or tornado you guys experienced likely is where the blame should be laid. What was that - you had the attic roof ripped off your house, holes in every window screen, golf ball size hail not to mention debris from all windows having been opened. Yup, you’re a bad blogger or designer all right. We all expected you to ignore all of that and sit down in the middle of the debris and keep on typing. Hugs! You silly girl!
In my life, I have been a bad blogger, a bad mother, a bad wife, a lousy sister and a bad designer. I have also been a dynamic blogger, and awesome mom, a fantastic sister and a truly kick butt designer.
It really all depends if the superwoman cape is in the laundry, on my back, or balled up and kicked into the corner so I can have a bubble bath.
Tip for next time. Save as many of those big hail rocks as possible. Tupperware in the freezer. That way you’ll have something to throw the next time no one is helping. The evidence will melt. lol
