Appointments, Appointments and More Appointments

This week seemed like it was going on forever. It feels good to know I can stay in my house (though I need to spend time cleaning it etc) and not HAVE to be anywhere for a few days. This week was so full of appointments and things that needed to be done it was ridiculous.

Monday was spent doing odd jobs around the house, while I tried to finish a web design job (almost done yeah). Then the chaos started. Wayne was home this week so we had a few appointments booked for ourselves to make it easier. On Tuesday Wayne watched the girls while I got a much needed hair cut and then we raced to our eye exams. I haven’t had my eyes checked since before I was pregnant and my eyes have a habit of getting worse every year. I had started getting headaches again and Wayne was over due too. So since he was off we went together so that one of us could watch the girls. After our appointments (yes my eyes did get worse) we ran to Costco and got some groceries to feed the neighbors. We got home just in time to put all of our stuff away and look presentable before the neighbors came for a BBQ. What a riot we had, good fun with good people. It’s about time we made some good friends around here.

Wednesday, I took Sky to the mall to get her some summer/early fall clothes. She was in desperate need and I wanted to get back to the Children’s Place, since all of the clothes I bought  a few weeks ago were now on sale 50% off, to get a price adjustment. I wound up buying another whole stack of clothes for next year and still getting $20 back.  I love sales. Sky is such a good little shopper. She got tonnes of stuff and spent only a minimal amount of money. I was very happy I didn’t have to coach her into being frugal, her older sisters have much more expensive taste and its always a challenge to take them shopping.

I didn’t think Thursday would be that bad, I figured we could go to our GP appointment in the morning and come home for the day. Nope, I had this feeling that I was forgetting something and low and behold I was (baby brain). After our GP appointment we had a PT & OT scheduled. Then Wayne called and wanted me to run a few errands while I was in the city. Well, when you have two car seats to haul around and you need to ask fro help from a store associate to load the large item into our vehicle because you can’t because you are hauling around two car seats (with two infants in them) things just take longer. So I got home much later than expected, we were all tired and ready to be at home. thank goodness, other than to drop Sky off at horse camp on Sunday, I don’t think I NEED to be anywhere for a week. It will be good to be at home and get some things done, oh yeah and relax.
