Easter Bunny
Okay, so I am a delinquent blogger once again. I know I promised to stay on top of things because when I get behind I just can’t catch up and I know that I will forget to mention something cool that happened. Oh well, can’t be super mom all the time. Cape is in the wash (with the rest of the laundry that is waiting to be done).
Easter weekend was great around here, quiet but great. The big kids spent Easter Sunday with their Mom at Gramma’s house so we decided to postpone dinner and celebrate with my family on Monday. Nana and Papa were here and Papa cooked dinner, he’s such a great cook turkey, ham, all the fixings. Not too sure what Wayne’s family was up to. We usually have dinner with them at least once during the Easter weekend but we didn’t hear from them this year.
Of course no Easter would be complete without the Easter Bunny and he definitely hit our house a couple times. I think he must have gotten lost in the country and accidentally came twice, once on Sunday and once on Monday. Silly bunny.
These bunnies were compliments of the Nana and Papa bunny. The girls thought they were pretty cool. Nope, not spoiled at all. I think Lena liked hers a lot. Kassie is not too fond of anything for any length of time yet. She also doesn’t like things to be on top of her. She kicks off any toys that are on her lap and any blankets that are on top of her while she is awake. It’s quite funny actually. She is so determined.
The Easter school holidays were okay, a few teenage realted events, but nothing we couldn’t handle. The big girls were off of school for a week and Wayne took some extra time off so that he could be home too. It was nice to have some family time. You would think I could get more done when everyone is off and can help with the girls but I enjoy the time we have together so much I just don’t want to hide behind the computer when we can have some family time. I guess come summer time I will have to stick to a better schedule, good thing I have a laptop so I can work outside. Ahhh hot sun I can not wait. I am so sick of snow and cold.
